"Dear Deborah,

The most wonderful thing about our trip to Belize was the amazing variety of sea life.
We have snorkeled throughout the Caribbean, the east and west coast of Mexico and
the South Pacific. The snorkeling in Belize is second only to Tahiti.   With guides on
the Hol Chan/Shark-Ray Ally tour we were able to pet nurse sharks and a sting ray.
We saw spiney star fish, a huge green eel, a jumbo hermit crab in a conch shell, a
giant turtle and many other creatures. The only thing I missed was ocean swimming
access right from the beach, but your ads were honest about that. The condo was
comfortable and the view was lovely. On our golf cart touring day, we stopped at
many of the highly acclaimed resorts most often mentioned on internet travel
sites and in travel books such "Fodors" for a cool drink and look see. What
we discovered to our delight is that we had by far the BEST accommodations
on the island. Your resort is easily the most attractive, quiet and relaxed, with open
space, a great staff and easy access to everything else.

The cell phone wasn't much use except for local calls, but Anna and Tracy at the front
desk effortlessly got calls through to the states for us and it was not very expensive at
all. The complimentary shuttle to town each night for dinner is a real plus and perfectly
timed. Everyone on Ambergris Caye, the tour guides, native islanders, and the tourist,
is friendly and helpful.":

Dates of Stay = 7/5/05 -7/16/05

"Deb - Let me tell you that our honeymoon trip to Ambergris Caye was
completely "unbelizeable!"

The condo that we stayed at, the oceanfront mini
studio, was perfect for the two of us for the eleven days that we stayed.
We utilized the kitchen and the accessories to cook and eat some of our
meals in-house. We had the staff make reservations for us when we wanted
to have a romantic dinners.

Overall, the staff at the condo were wonderfully friendly and helpful especially Anna,
Tracy and of course George! The group booked all of our trips for us and had us
picked up at the Caribe Island Condo dock each time. They also made sure to check
on us to make sure that everything was going all right.

The facility was well groomed, clean, secure and overall presented the
relaxing and quiet atmosphere we were looking for. The distance from
town was far enough to avoid the crowds while being close enough to bike
or take the shuttle in for whenever we needed.

One recommendation for all of your future visitors: If you can book a
snorkeling trip or excursion through Suya tours, ask for Gavino. He
was fantastic! Very nice, always on time and just a great guy all
around.

Overall, this was a wonderful trip that we look forward to repeating.

Thanks again for being so thorough, walking us through the process and helping us to
make sure that we covered all the details. Just what we needed,
especially in the midst of planning our wedding!

"This was our second trip to Belize and our first stay in San Pedro. We stayed for one
week at Caribe Island Resort and enjoyed every minute of it. The resort was very well
maintained, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the room (mini oceanfront) was
great for two people, having bikes available was wonderful for grocery shopping and
exercise, the pool was just the right size to relax or swim, the beach was well
maintained, the snorkling trips with Carlos were fun, don't miss the 4:30 PM feeding of
the 13f crocodile by the local kids at the lagoon close by, rent a golf cart for at least a
day, and take advantage of the cayak and sail boat rental at a close by resort, and
check out the iguanas at the beach and the property next door. If you like to relax in
quiet, comfortable surroundings, Caribe Islands is the resort for you!"

"We stayed in a junior oceanfront in April of 2005. It was the most relaxing vacation we
ever took. We have been to many of the Caribbean islands and this one took the
cake! Ambergris Caye is definitely the place to stay when you visit Belize. It is laid back
and the locals are fun. Everything was perfect. The rooms are immaculate! The staff
was incredibly friendly. They quickly lined up any tour we wanted. The maids actually
scrubbed the room each day - well above the call of duty - but we sure enjoyed it!
There is a tour guide on site and he was wonderful. He does all tours except diving. All
of the other tour companies pick you up on the dock - very convenient! The pool was
refreshing and the grounds were beautiful. We walked up and down the beach and
CaribeIslandCondo definitely has one of the best maintained beaches. First thing
every morning the groundsmen raked the beach to perfection. We even fished and
snorkeled off the dock. Our unit had a veranda and was right on the beach. We walked
out our door and the sea was a few feet away! We had a kitchen with all the works -
coffee pot, fridge, stove, toaster, pots, etc. Although we enjoyed breakfast and lunch in
our condo, the best part of Ambergris Caye is going out to eat and living it up with the
locals. The food was terrific. We made an adventure out of trying all the different
restaurants and were thrilled with each one. Go to BC's on Sunday for the best BBQ
on the planet. Try the Tai restaurant - it was our favorite. Although it was fun to go to
town, we enjoyed CaribeIslandCondo because once we returned to our condo it was Q-
U-I-E-T and peaceful as a vacation should be. We walked to town a few days along the
beach. It was fun. We also tried riding the complimentary bikes - also fun. Two days we
had a golf cart and I would recommend it. We had a good time cruising through the
streets, checking out where the locals lived and exploring the remote north end of the
island. The hand-ferry was a hoot, but it would be a bit annoying if we had to use it all
the time. I am glad we stayed on the South end of the island. Overall, our trip was
fantastic and we plan to go back twice a year if we can. I would recommend
CaribeIslandCondos to anyone looking for an unique Caribbean vacation at a top
notch resort!

"Where can I start? From the moment 'My Girl Terai' and I met you, we felt at ease...
The way you and the staff assisted us, and ensured our comfort was amazing!!!   .....
We stayed at your Manatee Suite...The web pictures didn't do it justice....All 5 of us
were Great there....It was perfect!!!

The Staff were always there to assist us.   I felt they went above and beyond to ensure
our good time....Special mention to Albert the Bartender...and Alberto the groundsman.

I'd also like to thank Carlos at SUYA TOURS...The Lamani tour was incredible!!!!!!!
Suya Tours Rocks!!!!!!!! It was worth every penny and more.... Carlos was Confident
and friendly, answering all our questions knowledgeably and with flair.....

This was our first time to San Pedro. We'll be back in April next year...Thank you for
such a memorable time..Thanks again for all your help and support, we'll see you next

"Our vacation last month to Ambergris Caye was truly memorable. The weather was
perfect, the water was perfect and the atmosphere was perfect. From the moment we
stepped off the plane everything and everyone was wonderful. Maybe its because the
island is small that you get an immediate sense of community. The folks living on the
Ambergris are some of the friendliest we have met anywhere. When you pass on the
street everyone smiles and warmly greets you.

The accommodations at CaribeIslandCondos are tastefully decorated in an island
motif, plus they are absolutely SPOTLESS. Each morning the ladies come by to clean
your condo. Not only do they change the sheets each day, they sweep and mop all the
floors, scrub the sinks and shower, wash countertops, wash the dishes and straighten
up the rooms. It was just heavenly! The grounds, the pool and the beach are also kept
tidy.

Tracy, the office manager at CaribeIslandCondos arranged SCUBA trips and a trip to
the mainland to explore the Mayan ruins. We were picked up and dropped off at the
Caribe dock, which made it so convenient.

We would and already have recommended CaribeIslandCondos to our friends and

"Theres NOTHING that was bad during my entire stay at your condo! I love each and
every member of the staff that I met--we took George (our driver)out for dinner one
night then for drinks on another. Albert (the bartender) kept us entertained for hours
at the bar and the office staff really went out of their way to accommodate any need we

"We had a wonderful time in Belize! Thanks so much for booking us a condo at the
last minute. Our trip would have been cancelled if not for you having put things
together at such short notice.

The condo was amazing as well as the staff. The condo was nicely decorated. It was
very clean and well maintained. Tracy was great and very helpful. She helped us
book the extra activities we did.... such as cave tubing, jungle rides, the Belize Zoo,
and snorkeling. All we had to do is step out our door and we were right on the
beautiful, white sanded beach!

The town of San Pedro was very charming and laid back with some nice little shops
and great places to eat. We were very thankful that you provided complimentary
bicycles to your guests. It is a short and pleasant bike ride into town which we did
almost daily. A few days, we walked along the beach into San Pedro which was just as
nice as the bike ride.

I would and have recommended Belize as well as CaribeIslandCondo to anyone
wanting a peaceful relaxing, and affordable getaway.

Thanks again to Deborah, Elsita, Tracy and everyone else at CaribeIslandCondo for

"We had a wonderful time!!!! In fact, we are planning to return in May. Woohoo!!!!
Tracy is AWESOME!! She was soooo helpful with everything. We would like to thank
you, her, and Elsita for EVERYTHING! The condo was great in every aspect of our
stay. It was beautifully decorated and maintained. Our children loved it there. My
husband is VERY hard to impress.....after 10 years of marriage....I know this better
than anyone. He has been telling everyone that we had a blast! That is the biggest
compliment of all. Ambergis Caye is now an annual vacation spot for us, and we love
and appreciate everyone associated with our stay. It was so great that we opted to
stay an extra night....in fact, if the flights home wouldn't have been so full, we would
have stayed another.....if not a couple. Thank you for your help with everything....This
trip, unlike others we've taken just fell together so easily....and the credit goes to you....

Here is a testimonial for CaribeIslandCondo...we had a great time!

"The CaribeIslandCondo Resort on Ambergris Caye was a great place to stay. We
stayed in a Jr. suite right on the beach and couldn't have been happier. The unit was
roomy and very clean, as was the whole resort. The beach was one of the nicest and
largest that I saw as far as any of the other resorts go (as you get nearer to San Pedro
the beaches as well as the resorts are smaller with a lot packed into a small
space…they gave me a cramped feeling.) There are also numerous resorts that have
a small seawall, thus you aren't able to walk at the edge of the water as you can at
CaribeIslandCondo Resort. Getting into San Pedro (it's about 2-3 miles) was never a
problem…it was an easy bike ride and there was an evening shuttle every night. (Bikes
and shuttle are free.) All the dive and tour companies will pick you up right at the
CaribeIslandCondo Resort dock.   The resort staff (i.e Elsita, Tracie, and Alberto) were
all very helpful while we were there…..They were always available and willing to attend
to anything we needed. Deborah was also easy to work with, had great email and
phone communication, and always got back to me right away answering any questions
that I had before we went. We were very happy with our choice of lodging and would
definitely stay at Caribe Island Condo Resort again."

"We had such a great time.... It was our first trip to Ambergris Caye, and after exploring
the entire island, we decided we definitely picked the best place to stay. It is the
smallest/most private, with the best beach, best location.... We plan on going back

A customer of Deborah's comments on the difference between Mexico and Belize. She
writes "I would LOVE to share my Belize information with your customers. My husband
and I
have been to Playa Del Carmen in Mexico and stayed at the Royal Hideaway
Resort and Spa. It was very expensive and not NEARLY as enjoyable as Belize.
My husband and I flew into Belize City and then took a small sea plane to
Ambergris Caye (San Pedro). The people are very friendly and speak ENGLISH!
Someone once told me that when you get there you can take your shoes off and
not put them back on until you get ready to head back home. I didn't believe
them but it is soooooo true. We landed on a sand airstrip and received our
"roundtrip transportation" from the airport to the hotel. Our transportation
consisted of a barefoot guy in a golfcart. It was great. The water and
beaches are beautiful. We went to the ruins, snorkeling, snorkeling with the
nurse sharks at Shark Ray Alley, night clubbing at Barefoot Iguanas, cave
tubing 20 miles from the Guatemala border. It was a true rustic experience.
Everyone drives Golf Carts, stays barefoot, and they are very welcoming.
Please refer to the website www.ambergriscaye.com for a complete guide to
Ambergris Caye. We also took a 15 minute boat ride to Caye Cauker (tiny
island) near Ambergris. It is very uninhabited and gorgeous. In Belize you
can get hour long massages on the beach for $50. Meals are great and often
cooked over open fire on the beach where you just go by and get a plate. We
loved it and are planning to go back again this year. If you really want to
go and make it a worthwhile trip, you need to invest in Fodor's
Belize/Guatemala book. Lots of info there. Let me know if I can give you any
